General junk pickup, done for you
Most people don't have a truck, a trailer or a free afternoon to haul away an old couch. That's what general junk pickup is for. Junk Removal Barrie picks up household junk, furniture, appliances and everyday clutter from homes and small businesses in Barrie, Innisfil, Springwater and Oro-Medonte. You point, we lift, load and drive away.
For items outside — at the curb, in the driveway, in the yard or in an open garage — you get an instant online quote and same-day / on-demand pickup. Pickups start at $49.99 + HST, and every job is custom quoted.
What counts as general junk?
- Furniture: sofas, chairs, tables, dressers, bed frames, desks and shelving.
- Appliances: washers, dryers, fridges, stoves and other household appliances.
- Household junk: boxes, bags, toys, décor, small electronics and the general clutter of everyday life.
- Mattresses and bulky items that won't fit in a car or go out with regular garbage.
- Move-out leftovers from apartments, houses and rentals.
Have something unusual or possibly hazardous? Ask us first — we'll tell you upfront whether it's something we can take.
Who uses junk pickup
Homeowners clearing out a room, upgrading furniture or getting ready to sell. Renters moving out and needing a clean unit. Landlords and property managers dealing with items left behind between tenants. Small businesses replacing office furniture or clearing a storage room. Families helping a relative downsize. Whatever the reason, the process stays the same.
How to get the fastest quote
Take a photo of everything together, ideally with something for scale. Tell us the town and whether the items are outside or inside. For exterior pickups, that's all we need to give you a price on the spot. Inside pickups are available case by case and include a site visit before we quote — see inside junk removal.
What affects the price
Junk pickup is priced by the job, not by a one-size-fits-all rate. The main factors are how much there is, how heavy or bulky it is, and how easy it is to reach and load. A single chair at the curb and a full garage are very different jobs, so every quote is custom. Pickups start at $49.99 + HST. Learn more on the pricing page.
Pairing junk pickup with other services
Many jobs are a mix. If your pile includes scrap metal, we can handle it in the same visit — read about metal pickup. If you're clearing a whole garage, shed or yard, our yard & garage cleanup service is built for that.
Same-day / on-demand availability
We're available Monday to Friday 8 AM–8 PM and weekends 9 AM–8 PM. For outside pickups, same-day / on-demand service means you can often go from photo to empty driveway the same day. Call (249) 444-3705 or use the form.

Before we arrive
Set aside anything you want to keep so there's no confusion. If you can, bring smaller items to the curb, driveway or garage — that turns the job into an exterior pickup with an instant quote. Leave larger items where they are if moving them isn't safe; tell us and we'll talk through options, including our case-by-case inside service.
Make sure we know the address, the town and the best phone number to reach you. If the pickup spot isn't obvious — side of the house, behind a gate, a particular garage bay — mention it in your request.
