Junk pickup between Lake Simcoe and Horseshoe Valley
Oro-Medonte covers a lot of ground east and north of Barrie — waterfront homes along Lake Simcoe, cottage properties, the Horseshoe Valley area, farmland and quiet hamlets. Each kind of property comes with its own cleanup needs, from cottage furniture and dock-side clutter to shop and barn contents. Junk Removal Barrie serves the whole township with instant online quotes for outside pickups and same-day / on-demand service.
Pickups start at $49.99 + HST. Every job is custom quoted, so you only pay for what you're actually getting rid of.
Oro-Medonte communities we serve
We cover Shanty Bay, Hawkestone, Horseshoe Valley and Moonstone, plus the rural concessions and smaller communities across Oro-Medonte.
Typical Oro-Medonte jobs
- Cottage and seasonal property cleanouts. Replaced furniture, worn mattresses and old outdoor items.
- Renovation leftovers. Old fixtures, cabinets and general debris from a home project — ask us about anything unusual.
- Metal. Barbecues, metal furniture, frames and scrap of all kinds. Visit metal pickup.
- Garage, shed and yard cleanups. Brush piles, storm debris and overfilled outbuildings. See yard & garage cleanups.
- Appliances and bulky household items. Read about general junk pickup.
Seasonal properties and absentee owners
If you own a cottage or second property and aren't always there, an outside pickup can be the easiest option. Leave the items in an accessible spot outside, send us photos and the address, and we can quote it instantly. Let us know anything we should know about access, such as a gate, a long laneway or where to find the items on the property.
When the items are inside
Inside pickups are available case by case. For junk inside a home, cottage or building, we'll book a site visit first to see what's involved, then give you an accurate quote. More on inside junk removal.
Good to know before you book
Group items together where possible, take a clear photo, and tell us about anything heavy. We regularly take household junk, furniture, appliances, metal and yard waste; for anything unusual or hazardous, ask first and we'll let you know what we can do.
Hours

Quick answer: Junk Removal Barrie serves Oro-Medonte, including Shanty Bay, Hawkestone, Horseshoe Valley and Moonstone, with same-day / on-demand pickup for exterior items and pickups starting at $49.99 + HST.
Shoreline and Horseshoe Valley properties
Properties along the Lake Simcoe shoreline near Shanty Bay and Hawkestone often have items spread between a main house, a garage and a lakeside storage area. In the Horseshoe Valley area, homes and chalets can involve slopes, longer driveways and seasonal access considerations. In both cases, a few photos — of the items and of the route to them — let us give you a fast, accurate quote for an exterior pickup.
North toward Moonstone and across the rural concessions, larger lots and outbuildings are common. Metal, old equipment parts, lumber scraps from projects and yard debris are typical. If you're not sure whether something can be included, just ask.
Planning around the season
Opening or closing a cottage is a natural time to clear out what you no longer need. Instead of loading up a vehicle for the drive home, book a pickup and leave with an empty trunk. Same-day / on-demand pickup is available for outside items, seven days a week during our hours.
